The performance characteristics of TC4 titanium square rod!
1、 Mechanical properties
1. High strength to weight ratio
The density is only 4.43g/cm ³, the tensile strength reaches 900-1100MPa, and the yield strength is 850-1000MPa.
High temperature performance stability: The tensile strength is about 900MPa at 600 ℃ and drops to 650MPa at 700 ℃.
2. Elastic modulus and hardness
The elastic modulus at room temperature is 110-120GPa, with a slight decrease at high temperatures.
Vickers hardness 330-400HV, Brinell hardness 300-350HB.
2、 Thermal performance
1. High temperature resistance
The working temperature range is from -200 ℃ to 400 ℃, and the tensile strength remains about 700MPa at 500 ℃.
The coefficient of thermal expansion is 8.5-9.5 μ m/m ·° C, lower than that of aluminum alloy, and has excellent high-temperature dimensional stability.
2. Thermal conductivity and melting point
Thermal conductivity is 15-20W/m · K.
Melting point 1660-1680 ℃, with better oxidation resistance than pure titanium.
3、 Corrosion resistance and biocompatibility
Excellent corrosion resistance in salt spray, seawater, and acid-base environments, with low oxidation rate at 500 ℃.
Good biocompatibility, widely used in orthopedic implants and dental restorations.
4、 Processing technology characteristics
Forging: It is necessary to control the temperature gradient of 900-950 ℃ to prevent cracking.
Heat treatment: Annealing optimizes toughness and aging enhances strength.
5、 Typical application areas
Aerospace: engine components, fuselage structural components.
Chemical industry: corrosion-resistant reactors, pipelines.
